Following the reconstruction project, P. Višinskis Street and its public spaces were revitalized, creating a comfortable and aesthetically appealing environment for residents and visitors. The asphalt and paving surfaces of the carriageway were renewed, concrete pavers were installed in pedestrian zones, and the stormwater drainage system was modernized.
As part of the project, two public squares were renovated. In the square near Stoties Street, rhombus-shaped granite slabs were laid, the surrounding access areas were redesigned, the existing sculpture was preserved, custom benches were installed, and new decorative plants were planted. In the square near “Juventa” Progymnasium, concrete paving was installed along with platform-style benches adapted for public events.
Modern landscaping solutions were applied throughout the area, with new trees and decorative plants enhancing the space while maintaining the existing street layout. Small architectural elements were harmonized with the overall street design, giving the area a distinctive character. The reconstruction not only improved the visual appeal of the city but also created a cozy and functional public space.
