The infrastructure and spatial planning design company Plentprojektas has registered a new corporate brand, PPRO. Along with the new brand, the company’s logo has also been updated — from now on, the company will be recognized in the market as PPRO, while its legal name remains unchanged.
This year, the design company Plentprojektas became part of the transport infrastructure group Fegda Group — in April, Fegda Group acquired an 80% shareholding in Plentprojektas.
According to Gediminas Gribulis, Head of Fegda Group, the integration of Plentprojektas into the group was smooth and successful, and the renewal of the company’s brand and logo is a natural part of this integration.
“The company’s brand has been updated in line with the visual identity of the entire group, maintaining the consistency of our group-wide visual style. Therefore, this change is a natural step forward for the company, marking a close connection with the entire Fegda Group and reinforcing our shared direction, synergy, and unity,” notes G. Gribulis.
Although the legal name Plentprojektas, UAB remains unchanged, after registering the new brand the company will be recognized in the market as PPRO.
PPRO is an abbreviation derived from the aspirational phrase “projektuotojai profesionalai” (“professional designers”) and also has a clear link to the name Plentprojektas. The logo retains the company’s operational roots and history while presenting them in a more modern and dynamic style that aligns with the overall visual identity of Fegda Group.
As with other Fegda Group company logos, the new PPRO logo features two orange elements at the top — symbols of a road and a bridge. The inner part of the logo — a horizontal road stripe — emphasizes forward movement. It is a metaphor for drive, direction, and engineering structure, reflecting the company’s growth and a new stage of development.
According to Andrius Sirtautas, Director of Plentprojektas, UAB, the brand update will not affect the validity of the company’s contracts or its responsibilities. “On the contrary, it is an additional signal to Lithuania of our company’s ability to change, grow, and remain a modern engineering force in the market,” says A. Sirtautas.
Fegda Group consists of six companies — Fegda Group, UAB, which consolidates the group’s activities; transport infrastructure construction project companies Fegda, UAB, Tilsta, UAB, and Alkesta, UAB; as well as design companies SRP Projektas, UAB and Plentprojektas, UAB.
