A bird’s-eye view of the penultimate section of Via Baltica reconstruction

“A hate to the contractors who worked in a hurry, but did as agreed,” Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė wrote on the social network, paying tribute to the contractors of Via Baltica. According to the Prime Minister, driving past and seeing how many bridges, viaducts, connecting roads, roundabouts and intersections have been built in such a short time, one cannot help but be surprised how it is possible to build such sections so quickly.

During the reconstruction of the penultimate section of the Via Baltica, we built one kilometer of road about every week, and every month we built one structure – a bridge or a tunnel passage. The pace was incredible and breaking all records, which was only possible thanks to the huge concentration of Fegda Group companies
