“Fegda Group”: last year’s drought of infrastructure projects in the market reduced companies’ revenue and profit
“Fegda Group’s” forecasts confirmed: revenue decreased by 27%
In 2025, the noticeable decline in the number of public tenders in Lithuania’s infrastructure construction market had a clear impact on the annual performance of all major companies operating in the sector, says one of the largest groups in the industry, Fegda grupė.
The group’s unaudited consolidated revenue last year decreased by 27%, from EUR 294.7 million to EUR 215.3 million, while unaudited net profit fell by 70%, from EUR 38.4 million to EUR 11.6 million. When announcing its historically best results for 2024, the group had already forecast that consolidated revenue would decline by around 30%.
According to Gediminas Gribulis, CEO of Fegda grupė, after a year rich in infrastructure projects in 2024, the market situation changed drastically last year.
“Last year, there were almost no large-scale projects that are typically implemented by the country’s biggest infrastructure construction companies. Nevertheless, we managed to handle the challenges—having anticipated the lack of large projects, we accumulated and set aside the necessary reserves.
Even with a sharp drop in turnover, our companies managed to remain profitable, retained our team and technical base, and are therefore ready to participate in the implementation of the most important projects for Lithuania. Together with partners, we are already implementing the Rūdininkai military campus project, and we are prepared and willing to take part in other strategic tenders in road, railway and defense infrastructure construction,” said G. Gribulis.
The Fegda grupė consists of six companies: the holding company UAB “Fegda grupė”, infrastructure construction companies UAB “Fegda”, UAB “Tilsta” and UAB “Alkesta”, and design companies UAB “SRP projektas” and UAB “Plentprojektas”.
