Existing Situation
The project solutions are planned within the land plot located at Antano Merkio St. 6B, Lapių town, Kaunas District Municipality, where the existing stadium of Lapių Basic School is currently situated.
The stadium is fenced, and near the entrance there is bicycle parking infrastructure including a shelter and bicycle racks.
The running tracks are surfaced with asphalt. Their length is not optimal, with the inner perimeter measuring 260 m. The tracks are separated by lawn curbs.
At both ends of the stadium there are asphalt basketball courts with fixed basketball stands. The southern basketball court measures 24 m × 13 m, while the northern court measures 20 m × 11 m.
The stadium also includes a football field with natural grass, equipped with permanent goalposts. The field measures 72 m in length and 38 m in width.
The terrain of the stadium and surrounding area is flat. There are no plantings within the stadium area, although a row of thuja trees planted by residents is located outside the fence on the eastern side.
Engineering networks crossing the stadium plot include water supply, sanitary sewage, gas pipelines, stormwater drainage, electricity and telecommunications networks.
Design Solutions
