Upon completion of the major renovation project, the section of Main Road A14 Vilnius–Utena will be fundamentally upgraded, ensuring safer and more comfortable traffic conditions. During the reconstruction, the road surface will be adapted to modern standards, new culverts will be installed, safety barriers will be added, and access roads as well as bus stops will be renovated.

To improve traffic management, intersections with other roads will be reorganized, and one roundabout will be modernized. Additionally, a protective mesh fence will be installed to prevent wildlife from entering the road, along with new pedestrian paths and lighting systems that enhance safety for both drivers and pedestrians. After the reconstruction, the road will become more reliable, safer, and more durable, ensuring improved connectivity in the region.
